Hi, I’m David Montoya, a passionate drum instructor and live sound engineer based in the South Bay Area. With over 20 years of drumming experience and a background in guitar, bass, and piano, I bring a well-rounded musical approach to every lesson.
I break down drum beats into approachable steps while emphasizing music reading, listening skills, timing, and technique. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s age, experience, interests, and pace.
Whether you or your child are picking up drumsticks for the first time or sharpening existing skills, my goal is to build confidence and musicianship—all from the comfort of your home.
