From the moment we signed our daughter up for drum lessons, David was super communicative and engaging. He went above and beyond to suggest drum kit options, a lesson book she would be referencing in class, and scheduled us in when we couldn't make it to our regular class time. David's teaching style is very approachable for students, especially younger ones (our daughter is 7). His classes aren't just about learning how to play drums; they are a holistic approach to the appreciation of music! They are an all-encompassing experience of learning how to read music with practical application on a percussive instrument while also giving the student the freedom and space to just rock out and let loose!

He is demonstrative, positive, and a joy to have as a teacher. Thank you David for being an inspiration to our daughter!

My kids have been working with David (drums) and Laura (guitar). Both teachers have been wonderful and know how to engage kids and meet them where they're at. David has been especially supportive, always checking in and offering to send follow up tips and videos to help with practicing.

He's really become part of the family. You can't go wrong with this music school. They have top notch quality teachers

Teacher David is the greatest with my 3 yr old son. My son looks forward to class on a weekly basis. David meets my son where he's at! There are days when my son has a 3 minute attention span, and other days when he doesn't want class to end. Regardless of my sons mood, teacher David is patient, and motivating. David goes above and beyond as he provides check-ins between classes and homework videos. My son is learning basics with regards to drumming, and has shown more interest in different beats, counting, and speeds. It has been about 2.5 months since he started and he has not lost motivation. We are pleased with his instruction!

These classes were EXACTLY what we were looking for! David was always welcoming and adapted to my son and his way of learning. Any time we had a suggestion he would listen. He is very professional and communicative.

David has been teaching in-home drum lessons Monday through Friday, and I'll be continuing with him because he'll also be teaching my grandson. He works at my pace and goes above and beyond to help me understand the music, even taking the time to write out a custom drum key for me. His rates are very reasonable, and he's flexible with schedule adjustments, too.
